Lappset Memo as part of the education plan at the Juliana primary school
"The math games on the Lappset Memo Interactive play pillars will not replace our math classes entirely, but it's a fun addition to the schoolyard for the kids to practice their math skills," says principal Marco Schaap, the Juliana school. "We bought the Memo for the fun factor, which it certainly has. We encourage children to lead a more active lifestyle by offering the Memo. "
The Lappset Memo is designed so that the games are not just physical, but it also enhances social cohesion, and has an educational dimension.

More than fun
Marco continues: “We’ve known for a while that daily exercise drastically improves study performances. It helps children develop themselves both physically and socially. The Lappset Memo Interactive play pillars are the perfect fit for our school as it gives plenty of incentive to get kids to get active. It’s designed so that the games are not just physical, but also enhances social cohesion and has an educational dimension.”
Freely accessible, even after school hours!
“We use the Memo as much as possible. Teachers often take the younger classes outside to the Memo for math practice. This way, the lessons are becoming more dynamic, and the material sticks better. We’ve also decided to keep the playground accessible during the breaks and after school hours. It’s being used a lot!”
"The Memo has an educational approach where children can learn the alphabet and solve math sums; therefore, it's a great addition to our school!"
