Prime comes to life in the municipality of Bronckhorst
In the quiet neighbourhoods of Drempt and Halle, something new is taking shape. These trusted play areas are now home to the very first installations from the brand-new Prime play equipment range. With their subtle shapes, fresh colours and natural materials, Prime brings a new kind of play to life. Each piece invites children to move, discover and imagine. A new play experience begins right on their doorstep.
The idea behind Prime
Prime is more than just a collection of play equipment. It represents a new way of thinking about play in public spaces. The Prime range has been designed with every child in mind, supporting them to grow and connect in their own way, at their own pace, and through their own experiences.
Inspired by Playful Nordic™ design, Prime combines simplicity with imagination, and balance with sensory engagement. The equipment offers a wide range of play opportunities at different levels, including those close to the ground. This makes it both appealing and accessible to a broad group of children, with or without disabilities. After all, truly inclusive play starts with thoughtful design.
At the same time, Prime is developed with a strong focus on sustainability. From renewable Scandinavian pine to smart modularity, the design gives you the freedom to create play spaces as unique as the children who explore them.
Prime play equipment brings movement to the neighbourhood in Drempt
Two Prime play units have recently been added to the existing playground in the heart of Drempt: the climbing frame Kaj and the spinning play unit Vera, both in the Bloom colour theme. These are compact play structures packed with play value. Children are encouraged to climb, balance, spin and push their boundaries. Kaj invites them to scramble and explore, while Vera challenges their sense of balance. Movement here happens naturally through play, offering fun while supporting motor development. This proves that even small play units can have a big impact when they’re designed full of challenge. The new equipment brings fresh energy to this familiar community space.

Imaginative play in Halle: a space for calm and creativity
At the edge of a quiet street in Halle stands the new Krister playhouse, replacing the outdated structure that stood before. Krister may be small, but it’s full of charm. Thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail, it features a tiny kitchen, sheltered seating areas, and an open layout that invites children to create a world of their own. Here, teahouses, market stalls or mini cafés come to life, encouraging role play, imagination and cooperation. For children seeking a moment of calm, Krister offers a sense of safety and peace. The fresh Bloom colour palette enhances this soothing atmosphere and allows the playhouse to blend beautifully into its natural surroundings.
The power of colour
Inspired by the ever-changing tones of the Nordic landscape, Prime’s colour themes bring the outdoors to life and become even more beautiful as the materials age. The municipality of Bronckhorst selected the Bloom theme: a vibrant mix of bubblegum pink, terracotta red and lemonade yellow.
Bloom combines a calm appearance with playful accents, using contrasting colours that enhance the inclusivity of the design. Especially for young children, Bloom feels inviting, familiar and fun. The equipment’s soft, round shapes and natural wood tones blend seamlessly into the surroundings.
