The largest shopping centre in southern Estonia is now home to an exceptional new playground. In the heart of Tartu, the Lõunakeskus shopping centre has introduced a space which is designed to keep children entertained for hours, offering a variety of activities that invite to play and movement. It’s more than just a play area—it’s a place where children can have fun, allowing parents to shop or relax knowing their little ones are happily occupied.
A Customised Playground Solution Designed for the Shopping Centre
The Lõunakeskus shopping centre in Tartu, Estonia, has enhanced its family offerings with a playground designed by Lappset Group in collaboration with the local dealer, Fixman Estonia. Covering 670 square metres, the playground blends modern design and functionality to create an engaging space for children of all ages. At its heart stands the Sting Tower, a visually stunning structure that incorporates LED lighting for evening play and features the shopping centre’s Leo mascot atop.
This playground, which opened on August 30, has already become a highlight for families, attracting more than 30,000 visitors. Designed to encourage movement, creativity and learning, the playground provides an captivating experience that complements the shopping centre’s vision as a hub for community and family activities.
