A playground that embraces inclusivity and is designed to be enjoyed by the entire neighbourhood

In the municipality of Hardenberg, we collaborated with a vibrant community to bring forth a playground that fosters togetherness and inclusivity. Our vision: outdoor play should be an inherent part of everyone's life, regardless of their circumstances. In Gramsbergen, we put our heads together to design an exciting, all-inclusive playground that serves as a hub for play, connection, and a sense of belonging. The result? A splendid new public all-in playground that has found its rightful place. Join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement!

For now and later

Neighbourhoods evolve just as the needs of residents transform over time. That's why it's crucial to involve the community in new initiatives. When creating this space, local residents stepped up and shared their ideas for its contents. One idea stood out: a playground that's not only suitable for all but also future-proof, filled with challenges and endless fun. Various play elements and equipment wishes were mentioned, and with this valuable input, the design came to life. And voila, we now have an awesome all-in playground that's the talk of the town!

Accessible and clear

Nestled within the heart of the neighbourhood, a sprawling playground has been meticulously designed with accessibility as its guiding principle. The thoughtfully crafted pathways and lush greenery ensure easy navigation for wheelchair users, parents with strollers, and those with limited mobility. It's a space where people can come together, unwind, and have a blast, with a strong emphasis on inclusive play and exercise. The diverse range of equipment caters to people of all ages and abilities, fostering a sense of belonging and ensuring that everyone can join in on the fun.
