About IFLA 2025 – “Guiding Landscapes”
Held from September 10–12, 2025, in Nantes, France, IFLA 2025 explores how landscape architects can help cities adapt to climate change. Under the theme “Guiding Landscapes”, the event highlights how landscape architecture plays a key role in:
- Reopening soils and enhancing rainwater infiltration
- Cooling cities through increased urban biodiversity
- Creating resilient, inclusive public spaces
- Understanding soil as the foundation for sustainable design
