Welcoming Arto Lahtela as CEO of Lappset Group
We are delighted to announce that Lappset's Board of Directors has appointed Arto Lahtela as CEO. He will take up his position on 29 January 2024 in Rovaniemi.

Arto Lahtela is an experienced international business leader. He has diverse, international, and domestic experience from several industrial sectors in sales, business management, and CEO positions. During his career, he has worked for PKC Group Plc for 10 years, of which about 5 years were spent living in North America. He then spent over 12 years as a director of Moventas companies, the last 8 years as CEO of a group of over 500 people and 8 national companies.
He joins Lappset from his position as CEO of Filtrabit Oy, a technology company developing industrial dust collection systems.

Lars Husberg, Executive Vice President, will take over as CEO during the transition period
The current CEO Tero Ylinenpää's term of office ends on 31 December 2023. He has held various management positions at Lappset for three decades, the last ten years as CEO.
Lars Husberg, Executive Vice President, will take over as CEO from 1 to 28 January 2024, until Arto Lahtela takes over on 29 January.
