Thomas Street Reserve Playspace, Hampton VIC, Australia
Thomas Street Reserve is a new, fully inclusive public park in Hampton, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia.

The park caters to a wide range of abilities and ages, with a medieval theme that was based on the original ‘fort’ theme of this traditional 30-year-old park.

The park was designed in collaboration by our local partner Lark Industries, the local community, designer Ric McConaghy and Lappset MyDesign.

The Yalp Interactive DJ Fono booth with custom benches provides an area to hang out and listen to music, which is great for the youth and is fully inclusive.

The site also houses a Senior Sport unit, which was designed in conjunction with physical therapists, so grandparents are able to increase their strength and balance while the grandchildren explore the playground.
