Laune Lahti Finland Castle with dragon and Sona

Laune Castle playground is watched by a kind Lauha Dragon

This wonderful and unique family park offers something for everyone! The aim was to build a new play castle in Laune's family park in place of the old one. The play castle had to take into account, among other things, different age and user groups (accessibility and inclusion) and plan activities suitable for all groups.

The functions and their placement were done in such a way that playing is meaningful and challenging enough while being safe. The castle also has its own section for the smallest children, as well as activities located at a suitable height for wheelchair users, for example. In addition to the climbing and balancing activities of the play structure, speech pipes have been placed in the courtyard of the castle and outside the walls to help children communicate with each other. The interactive Sona dance arch in the middle of the castle courtyard allows for a variety of interactive games. The motion camera above the arch registers player movements on the gaming platform and players receive feedback through music and sounds.
