SmartUs is one of the examples of Lappset's Play Evolution approach. A group of professionals representing play, exercise, learning, design and technology worked together from 2003 to 2006, devising environments that combine play, exercise and learning.
The group explored the opportunities for using physical play as a method for learning — both school subjects and social skills. The creative interplay of top experts proved fruitful and produced the SmartUs product family.
